VISIT TO A ZOO

In our school there are school trips two times a year. Our last trip was to Murree but this time all of students were requesting the school principal to get us to zoo instead of fort. All of my friend love animals even they have pets at their houses like parrots, cats, dogs, hens, horse, pigeons etc. but they don’t have big animals and different species of birds. We students wrote a requesting letter to school principle and she agreed to take us to the zoo.

             I was so excited for a visit to a zoo, last time I visited with my family but this time I am going to be with my friends. I took permission from my parents, they signed on the permission slip for visit to a zoo and gave me the payment for the school trip.

             On last weekend, our school trip has been to zoo with all of the school staff and students. The leader of our trip was the arts in-charge, they managed two busses for us so all of students will sit and stay at their journey comfortably. The school staff told us to reach at 7:00 am in the school and we will depart at 7:30am from school to our trip, zoo was away from us by the distance of 2.5 hours. Our food and lunch arrangements was the school responsibility they charged us for that and they also managed the first aid kit and lots of water to secure the students from dehydration.

            On our way going to a zoo we students enjoyed together in a bus, we observed the surroundings some places was highly populated while some were bare land. The people were heading to their duties and everyone was in a rush to reach to their jobs on time.

                 We also stayed on a tuck shop for a while, at 10 o’clock we reached to the main door of the zoo and the trip leader bought us the tickets for entrance to the zoo then we got out of our busses and entered the zoo. I found out that there was another school who came for a visit to a zoo. The leader gave us the timing that on 13:00 o’clock we will all meet on lunch, we followed the timing. 

                  First me and my friend jumped towards the bird side because we both love birds there was parakeets who are really trained we took pictures and selfies with them. I saw the peacock opening his all furs it was looking like a beautiful colorful flower then I moved to other birds and captured them in my camera. After that we moved to the tiger cage, there was two of them in white color. My friend got scared when they roared, they were moving continuously after some time they sat together and keep watching us.

                 One by one we saw all the animals present at the zoo, we saw different animals like giraffe, wolf, monkey, reindeer, bear, zebra, ostrich, lion, koala, hyena and jaguar, at lunch time all of students gathered and get refreshed then with the team leader we rode camel and elephant.

               At the end we took group photos with school principal and teachers, also with the classmates. I will keep these pictures with me for forever, it was a really great experience for me to visit a zoo with class fellows. We reached home at 9:00pm, when I lied on my bed I was so tired the whole day was so busy and full of fun. This was the best entertainment I will always remember that and will try to go for a visit to a zoo with friends again.
